Rat-Catchers of Miragliano

The Rat-Catchers of Miragliano are a renowned Mercenary regiment of Miragliano. [1]
They are equipped and trained by the Prince of the city with a primary duty of preventing Skaven incursions. [1]
History
The Rat-Catchers were founded after the devastation caused to the city by the Red Pox in 1812 IC. [1]
Weapons and Equipment
Each member of the regiment is equipped with a short sword, knives and a crossbow although offices often use a handbow instead to allow them to carry a lantern in the other. Every patrol has a dog-handler with a pair of powerful mastiffs which are fed exclusively on rat-meat. In addition they use grappling hooks and il Sollecitare (the Tickler) - a long pole with many barded hooks to drag the water for swimming skaven. [1]
